Fidemicro Conducts a Work Tour in Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro to Strengthen Microcredit in Panama

Icaza Trust Corporation, as trustee of the Microcredit Trust Fund Program in Panama (Fidemicro), carried out a successful work tour in the provinces of Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro, focused on promoting access to microcredit in the country.

During the visit, strategic meetings were held with local cooperatives, financing entities, and beneficiaries of the Fidemicro program, with the aim of promoting microcredit, learning firsthand about users’ experiences, and strengthening the program’s impact in rural and entrepreneurial communities.

This initiative reaffirms the commitment of Icaza Trust Corporation and Fidemicro to Panama’s economic development, by facilitating financing opportunities for microentrepreneurs and productive sectors across the country.
